Yes. Your SM license will expire and stop working after 1-year. If you plan to continue using it, you need to renew it by paying for a 1-year license before the expiration date.

None of the MT4 releases in the past 8 years made trouble for SM, but when a major update comes out for the MT4, we will update the software if necessary, and everyone who has an active SM license will receive the updates. Most of the new MT4 releases do not make much of a difference for the Signal Magician.

Signal Magician is standalone software, and you do not need to have a website to use it. Obviously, it is best practice to have a website when offering online services like trading signals, and you can build your website in HTML, WordPress, or some other similar platform.

Yes, you need to have a domain name or buy a new domain name from GoDaddy (or a similar service). Then, you can create a free sub-domain and direct it to an IP address that we will provide.

Signal Magician is different from PAMM accounts. All MT4 accounts connected with Signal Magician must be online all the time to receive trades. PAMM accounts are more convenient in this case because you don't need MT4 clients to be online. However, the PAMM account locks you into using just one broker.

With Signal Magician, you can use any broker with MT4 or MT5, which will attract you more clients because they don't need to move funds anywhere and start copying trades immediately regardless of which broker they are using.

Usually, SM signal providers rent a Windows dedicated server and host MT4 accounts so that their customers don't need to have their MT4 running all the time. It adds a bit more work but makes everything easier for customers. My server recommendations are here.

In most cases, payments fail because your bank denies online transactions or there are not enough funds in your account. Contact your bank to make sure online transactions are enabled for your bank card and make sure you have enough funds.

Note that we charge in Euros because we are a company based in Europe. Your bank will automatically convert that amount to your local currency, and that might be a slightly larger amount than the price you see in Euros.

Yes, You can upgrade to a higher plan any time later by paying a prorated price difference.

Practical example:

You started with the BRONZE plan on 2021-01-05 for 990 EUR, which allows you to connect 25 active clients. If you want to connect more than 25 clients, you'll need to upgrade to a higher plan.

With the BRONZE plan, you can have 25 active clients before we ask for the upgrade payment to the next plan (SILVER).

Let's say you connect new clients every month, and on 2021-02-12, you pass the 25 client limit. It means you need a SILVER plan now, which allows up to 50 clients. The full-year price for the SILVER plan is 1750 EUR.

To upgrade to the next plan on 2021-02-13, you need to pay €678.79. You are paying the upgrade price for the new plan only for the remaining 326 days of your license (expiring on 2022-01-05), and this upgrade price was also reduced by €884.22 because of unused days (326). After the expiry of your 1-year plan, if you continue to use the software, you'll pay the full cost for the next year according to your existing payment plan on that day (€1750.00).

With the SILVER plan, you can have 50 active clients before we ask for the upgrade payment to the next plan (GOLD).

Next, let's imagine you need to pass the 50 client limit on 2021-03-07. It means you need a GOLD plan now, which allows up to 100 clients. The full-year price for the GOLD plan is 2990 EUR.

To upgrade to the next plan on 2021-03-08, you need to pay €1096.79. You are paying the upgrade price for the new plan only for the remaining 303 days of your license (expiring on 2022-01-05), and this upgrade price was also reduced by €1385.32 because of unused days (303). After the expiry of your 1-year plan, if you continue to use the software, you'll pay the full cost for the next year according to your existing payment plan on that day (€2990.00).

With the GOLD plan, you can have 100 active clients before we ask for the upgrade payment to the next plan.

Let's say you connect 98 clients max, and then something happens, and 20 clients leave.
But at the same time, 15 new clients signup.
So now you have 98 - 20 + 15 = 93 active clients, and you are still on a GOLD plan.
Then again, later, 17 clients leave, but 21 new clients signup.
So now you have 93 - 17 + 21 = 97 active clients, and you are still on a GOLD plan.

What about downgrading?

In the near future, we plan to introduce monthly payments, which would be more flexible, especially for downgrading to a lower plan.
But for now, we have only annual plans, and in this example you could downgrade only when you renew your plan for the next year after 2022-01-05.
